Ear Loungin'

Here's a new playlist I've been obsessing over ever since lounge music entranced me last week during one of my frequent trips to The Conran Shop. I always come in with the desire to walk out there with something and it had never occurred to me that I ever would. This time though, in the form of music. 

These are some of the songs from the I Love Lounge album that compiles lounge or at least lounge-y music from different artists, mostly European. I hung out in front of one of the speakers at Conran to compliment my Shazam-ing and it only dawned on me a few songs in that I could actually peep in the iPod and get the name of the album to save myself the trouble. Getting this playlist together was quite the effort as I couldn't download (illegally) the album online and I'm shameless enough to admit that I didn't even think about buying it despite it being within my pocket's reach.

I have a strict Free Music Only Policy in my iTunes. The last time I actually purchased an album was when Coldplay released Viva La Vida and that was only because I'm a fan. Or was a fan. I'm not so sure anymore.

Anyway, trust me. You'll lounge so hard, you'll sleep like a baby.
