Sneaker Hunt

My bicycle has been out almost 3 weeks now so I've resorted to walking to work, to the gym, back home, everywhere. All are within 30 minutes reach but they do cut me back precious time as I sometimes walk in my work shoes. Anyway,
Sneaker Hunt
I've spent the entire week looking for white sneakers. I initially thought of buying a pair of white Keds as I've found my black ones to be very reliable, rain or shine. But then they look so similar to the sneakers they sell at H&M, not to mention I copped a pair of emergency tourist-shoes from Target last year. While that's all well and good, I want something new. The leather Converse All Stars first caught my eye and I've tried them on however they don't carry them in my size anymore. The same story with the Vans Authentics. Apparently, I'm two weeks late. There are two words that frustrate me: SOLD OUT.
This is the pain you go through when you have Smurf-feet. I don't know why I'm referencing the Smurfs because 1) I've never watched the Smurfs and 2) I'm not even sure if they have feet. I'm only guessing they are small, as mine are.

So I have presented the problem and I've come up with a couple of potential solutions:
  • buy online and risk the possibility of not getting the right fit (or worse, buying fakes)
  • keep combing every ABC Mart, Asbee, Sports Authority etc. until mission has been accomplished
I'm not even really sure if they'll suit me. I could easily 'butch' up in the wrong shoes, I tell you. So fingers crossed. On sneaker-related matter, I've found a pair of the Nike Rosher Runs on Amazon. They're selling for almost three times more than in Manila! But now that I've found them, I'm not sure I want them still. It's the thrill of the chase.

My daily Engrish-spotting yesterday at ABC Mart.
