Japan And Carbs

There's more to Japan than sushi and matcha.
Standard takeaway grub for the working class. | Hashtag CLAZZZZZZ

One of the patisseries in Mitsukoshi. You'd be hard-pressed to not come across at least one bakery/patisserie in any department store in Japan.
It's a favourite past time of mine to just go walking around the basement of these department stores. They have everything. From sweets to savouries.
Don't trust anything else that claims they have it all for you.
Takashimaya, Mitsukoshi, Isetan, Matsuzakaya--THEY have it all for you.
Johan Bakery | AKA 90% of the body weight I'm struggling to lose at the moment. Their butter and sugar rusks are TDF hashtag REGRETSSSSSS.
DPNYC's one of the reasons why I love going to Tokyo. Nothing like a hard night of clubbing and an early morning of cinnamon sugar donut-inhaling. |
LadureƩ Cafe in Shinjuku is the prettiest thing ever. So pretty that you panic as you take in all its pastel prettiness
that you forget to take a photo of the place and gravitate your viewfinder towards the sweets instead.
Dean & Deluca in Shinjuku |
You instantly put on 5lbs as you're dazed in the waft of the smell of butter and cheese.
They have the best gourmet sandwiches and cookies. Why do I know that.
Bottomline is: I don't get how Japanese people are so skinny. Japan's got a 3.2% obesity rate. That's about 400,000 stomachs out of the 127M that have succumbed to all THAT.

I'm part of the 3.2%.

My life needs intervention.
