Red, Orange and Yellow

One of the ticket vending machines for "pleasure". We bought us some fries. Pleasure indeed!

Before it all becomes completely irrelevant. These are some of the photos I took when my sister and I went to Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens. The temperature was shocking that day. Good thing there was enough sun for my camera to capitalise on.

It's surprising how I didn't care much for autumn in Japan until this year. Ask anyone here and the likelihood of autumn being their favourite season is unbelievable. But what's not to love? It's a time when the devil that is the humidity of the Japanese summer creeps away and a light jacket is in order. Changing leaves, roasted chestnuts, bright orange persimmons and a warm pair of socks. A few of my autumn favourites.
