I've been pinned down to my bed each day after work this week--that time of the month again. Defenceless, extreme abuse of sedentary activities like brewing copious amounts of matcha, lying on my stomach, flipping through September issues and gawking over things I can't afford have been the usual situation. To whoever created Lyst, you are a genius. And in case you're wondering, it's the latest online shop/social network I've joined that works in the same breath as Pinterest, except tailored for obsessive bargain hunters like myself. You simply follow the labels, "lyst" items of interest and get notifications if and when they go on sale. Also worth mentioning that when someone shops from your personal Lyst, you get commission from it. From the optimist's standpoint: How good is that? And from the cynic's: How true could it be?
Anyhow, I'm crazy about Acne Studios. They just do everything right from trousers, to biker jackets to shoes. Oh dear, Scandinavia. I'm going to gander inside their Tokyo store and try on the Pistol boots. Hey, like I always say, if I ain't buyin', at least I'm tryin'. And who knows, this might be the year I own my first pair of designer shoes.
Sigh. I wish using up my energy talking about things like this gave me a free pair of shoes. Okay, bye.
