Just jokes.
The first proper sleep I got since Wednesday last week was last night. Summer Sonic was a blast. I can't recall not having at least a resemblance of a good time whenever I'm in Osaka (I keep thinking about moving there). I've been showing up at work straight since the weekend and will keep at it until I leave for a mini-holiday on Thursday. (If my orthodontist is reading this, Hi! You're the first person I'm seeing fresh off the tarmac.) My family's at the beach at the moment, moisturising their epidermis with some Japan-grade sand (not the best kind) and though one might mistake me to be green with envy, I'm actually not. I'm already dark as it is and I do need/want to clock in more hours at work--though this neither means I'm all bursting with keenness when I show up at work at 7am in stilettos that have suddenly become unexplainably ill-fitting. Anyway, I could sit and whine and hate life but I'm going to quote one of the biggest groups of all time, "thank you for the music".
If I close my eyes hard enough, it's just like laying under the sun with a cold beer in hand. And if I really close them hard enough, I'd be napping, no doubt.
