As I packed for Osaka 2 weeks ago, I realised I lost my camera charger. It was pure luck that I had a couple bars of juice that lasted long enough to film the entire day for Summer Sonic. As far as the quality goes, I can't complain (try watching my videos on HD). However, my Nikon J1 has suffered enough bumps and bruises that won't make it very appealing even to second-hand shoppers. It's not suited for shooting videos and especially NOT for shooting videos inside clubs. That's one indispensable lesson you learn from Tokyo.
Thinking about how much I bought it for in Singapore last year sends me chest spasms. I wish I'd bought a GoPro Hero 3 instead! These days I'm hardly dependable for taking photos as I've developed a muscle reflex for pressing the red button instead. I think my videologs would look much better and my friends who are mostly in them would benefit greatly. Long story short, I'm adding this to my birthday/Christmas wish list. All this new form of technology... Stress.
P.P.S. I also just noticed how my very American Zs have been automatically changed to very English Ss instead (re: organize=organise) thanks to my Mac's keyboard. I can't be bothered to figure it out, tbh. And since we're being honest, I actually feel cultured using Ss. Pardon as I go make myself a cup of tea!
