South Coast Road Trip Vol. 4: Blue Mountains

I always think I take a ridiculous number of photos on every holiday only to have my heart sink after going through all of them. I've been trying to go over how this keeps happening then I realised it's perhaps because I get so consumed by what I see that I fall into complete disregard of every photo opportunity. I can't thank my iPhone4 enough for taking cover every time. She's an oldie but a goodie.

These are some of the proper camera photos from the Three Sisters bush walk Ivy, Rich and I took during our second day in the Blue Mountains. I remember it being so hot that morning and my lack of cardio truly shone through what felt like hundreds of steps sending me to sweat and run short of breath. Though good thing I held judgment until we got to the one of the Sisters for the view was absolutely beautiful. It can be so dumbfounding how all these natural colours, shapes and textures form such scenes and I can be so full of it for not having any photos that manifest. :s

So we embraced the views, took some snaps and drove back to town for dinner at one of Katoomba's local diners where I discovered chips and gravy (my potato binges have never been quite the same since then). The day was capped off with a walk through the thickest fog I have ever seen and I just feel so happy that it was a moment I'll never forget because hey, I remembered to take a photo of it.
