South Coast Road Trip Vol.3: Leura, Blue Mountains

A slight detour before retiring to our bed & breakfast in the Blue Mountains, I find myself antiquing and winning the trophy for being the ultimate tourist in suburban Leura. It was my first time to go antiquing with a legitimate purpose, I actually wasn't just shopping with my eyes (my sister's impulsive purchase-rage might have had a hand on that as she scoured shop after shop for every owl novelty). Fair enough, I left the small town with a slightly-antiquated birdcage and a memory card full of curious discoveries of clever chocolate packaging, gluten-free gourmet noshing and seemingly endless rows of absolutely beautiful furniture.

There is a bespoke charm that small towns have in nature. It was physiologically impossible for me to restrain my index finger from pressing and pressing my shutter release. I wanted everything in my 8GB memory card so I could be right here, right now, blogging about it.
